Dolly Parton is not letting her age stop her from making a Playboy Magazine return.
Country music legend Dolly Parton turned 74 years old this year. Importantly, Dolly was the first country music singer to pose for the cover of playboy magazine in 1978 at the age of 32. When asked about retirement, Dolly Parton playfully responds with a wish to recreate her Playboy Magazine cover.
“I don’t plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again,” “See, I did Playboy magazine years ago and I thought it’d be such a hoot if they’ll go for it — I don’t know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I’m 75.”

Undoubtedly, Dolly had specific and tasteful restrictions for her 1978 cover – no nudity. When asked if she was going to “whip out the same outfit” for the shoot, Parton responded, “Maybe, I could probably use it. Boobs are still the same.”
Additionally, Dolly Parton does not plan on slowing down anytime soon. She started out playing at the Opry when she was just a teenager and loves being in front of the camera.
“I always say good lighting, good makeup and good doctors – and a good attitude don’t hurt either,” “When I’m 90, I’ll probably look about the same way. Just thicker makeup, bigger hair!”

Although we’re all rooting for Dolly Parton to be on the cover of Playboy Magazine, Dolly is also working on many other projects. Parton will soon be featured on a new A&E documentary special that debuts April 12th. The biography will showcase her life journey all the way back to her earlier years living in scarcity to her Nashville years.
