Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany’s Kentucky Castle Wedding Episode

Vanderpump Rules Jax & Brittany's Wedding at the Kentucky Castle

On Tuesday, Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules TV series aired Jax & Brittany’s Kentucky Castle Wedding.

Last night, the entire world got to see Jax Taylor (40) marry Brittany Cartwright (31) on the Vanderpump Rules season eight episode titled “Mr. and Mrs. Cauchi.” The ceremony was officiated by former NSYNC band member, Lance Bass.

Jax and Brittany’s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. The ceremony and reception were held at The Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.

About The Kentucky Castle:

The Kentucky Castle is a farm to table restaurant, boutique hotel, and event venue located minutes from Keeneland Race Track. Originally built in 1969, the castle has had numerous owners and has evolved into what it is today throughout Kentucky’s history.

The Kentucky Castle features 14 guest rooms, a ballroom, bourbon bar, gardens, pool, and spa. Planned and ticketed events such as murder mystery dinners, concerts, and bourbon tastings occur quite frequently. Additionally, the hotel hosts tours open to the public.

Brittany had her eyes set on the castle for a long time. Originally from Kentucky where her family still resides, she wanted to bring everyone to the bluegrass state to see what the hospitality is all about. The reality TV star mentioned her excitement of feeling like a princess during the planning process. Undoubtedly, Brittany Cartwright is extremely proud of where she is from, and is never shy when it comes to Kentucky.

“I’ve always dreamed of the perfect wedding even since I was a little girl. These are memories that we will never be able to take back so I just want to look good and feel good. And it’s going to be the most perfect day.”

Jax & Brittany’s Kentucky Castle Wedding Details:

The wedding ceremony was held outside on a hot summer day.  Brittany stood alongside 12 bridesmaids, which included every main Vanderpump cast member except for Lisa herself (who was in attendance.) Katie was the maid of honor. Jax had 13 groomsmen, and both Tom and Tom were best men.

Post ceremony, all moved into the greenhouse for reception.

The Dinner featured options of filet mignon, chicken cordon bleu, or exotic mushroom ravioli. Later that evening, Hooters girls showed up with food for a late night snack (homage to Brittany as she used to work for Hooters back in the day.)

The Vanderpump Rules episode of Jax and Brittany’s wedding at the Kentucky Castle highlighted moments such as Brittany’s walk down the aisle, all cast members, Lisa Vanderpump, speeches & toasts, Lala Kent’s reaction to the first dance, and of course, tower bouquet toss, and a little bit of cast drama here and there, as after-all this is reality television.

How did Brittany and Jax Meet?

The two met in Las Vegas in 2015. Jax fell for Brittany’s southern charm at first sight and told Brittany that she should move from Kentucky to Los Angeles to be with him – and that she did. The couple has had their own show “Jax and Brittany take Kentucky.” Additionally, prior to their engagement they faced a public cheating scandal which they overcame to move onto living happily ever after. The couple currently lives in California with their two dogs Kingsley and Monroe.
