We’ll Get Though This Together” A Song Produced by Kentuckians to Bring Hope In a Season of Distress
Kentucky musicians collaborated to produce “We’ll Get Through This Together” earlier last month. Bob Stamper, who is a leader for Real Life Community Church in Richmond, Kentucky initiated the start of the collaboration.
Website www.kentuckyasone.com was used to allow contributors to upload their audio files for the final song. The song is inspired by Governor Andy Beshear’s frequent use of the term during his weekly 5PM news conferences.
About the Video:
The three minute and 46 second video was shown at the end of Beshear’s Monday news conference, where thousands watch live daily.
Lyrics:
“Out there in your home, You are not Alone, We are sisters and brothers, In this ’til the end, enemy or friend, Standing with each other. “
We will, we’ll get through this, We’ll get through this together,”
We’ll stay strong and safe; working for a day, when the world reawakens. We will hug our friends, cheer our teams again, Every seat will be taken.”
