Madison Central High School Performs in NYC’s 93rd Parade

Band members from Richmond, Kentucky’s Madison Central High School headed to New York City to perform in 93rd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The band has raised nearly $500,000 to get the 280 members to the Big Apple!

This morning, over 3.5 million attendees lined the parade route. Over 50 million viewers watched on television. Madison Central High School has been preparing to take their biggest stage performance yet for months. Undoubtedly, their excitement was truly present during their final rehearsal this morning.

The five time state champion band played “Animals” by Maroon 5 as Spongebob Square Pants floated in the background. The band showcased leopard and zebra print uniforms to go along with the song under the direction of David Jaggie.
