The National Bobblehead Museum Unveils Virginia Moore’s Official Bobblehead
Virginia Moore, famed for her sign language interpretations during Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s daily news conferences gets her very own. bobblehead. The executive director of the Kentucky Commission of the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing simply goes by “Virginia” these days.
She stands by Beshear daily as he shares the state’s updates of the ever evolving COVID-19 everyday at 5PM. The Governor (who also has his own bobblehead) heavily relies on her help to get the message across to nearly 700,000 Kentuckians who are deaf or heard of hearing. Beshear’s bobblehead features him standing at a podium just like he does during his daily briefings. A portion of those sales will be going towards the Protect the Heroes Fund.
About the Virginia Moore Bobblehead:
The bobblehead will feature Virginia Moore making the American Sign Language Symbol (ASL) of love. Importantly, Milwaukee’s the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, will donate $5 from every purchase to the Kentucky School for the Deaf Charitable Foundation.
