Rye Davis Cut to Tape Album

Kentucky Music Artist Rye Davis Releases His New “Cut to Tape” EP and It’s as Real as Country Music Gets

Rye Davis, who can very well be described as a blue collar, Western Kentucky University Alumni, baseball player, and you guessed it – one helluva country music singer from Pig, Kentucky. Davis released his “Cut to Tape” EP yesterday in collaboration with his singer-songwriter wife, Brandy Davis.

Brandy Davis

Davis is a dedicated vocalist, performing over 150 shows a year as a headliner and supporting act. Not only was Davis featured on ABC’s Rising Star, but he was also described as sounding a lot like Alan Jackson by Brad Paisley (now, that’s a hell of a compliment.) His love for real, down home country music shows in his lyrics and you can definitely hear it in his distinctive, effortless voice.

Songs like “Blue Jeans”, and “A Story to Tell” are what got Davis’ career started. When not working on his family farm, Davis spends most of his days writing music with his wife, and playing shows nationwide.
