What else would you expect from a music festival located in the horse capital of the world and bourbon country? The Railbird Festival 2021 is one part music, one part equine, and one part bourbon. This is essentially the perfectly crafted cocktail for any Kentucky Colonel.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29, 2021. Those are the dates set for the Railbird music festival’s return to the Keeneland grounds in Lexington, Kentucky. The lineup features folk, bluegrass, Americana, and rock genres of music.
Historically, some of those performing artists are some of Kentucky’s own. The 2021 festival includes the Louisville group, My Morning Jacket. #RailbirdFest

A Kentucky festival just wouldn’t be official without the Commonwealth’s official spirit. Therefore, The Rickhouse is a highly-curated bourbon experience. Righteously so, 95% of the world’s bourbon is produced in the Bluegrass. There’s more than 2 barrels of bourbon aging for every human in the state. Needless to say, it’s a great opportunity to hand-select barrels from Kentucky’s finest distilleries.

With all of the action happening at the historic Keeneland grounds, horse racing was bound to be included! Therefore, the fun isn’t restricted onstage. If the music and bourbon have you feeling some type of way, you may want to risk it all wagering on off-track betting. Within the Lucky Day Plaza, you can bet on horse racing with coast-to-coast simulcasts from Del Mar in California to Saratoga in New York. Did we mention there’s an air-conditioned bar and lounge?
