Chef Ouita Michel’s First Cookbook “Just a Few Miles South” Launches this Spring

Chef Ouita Michel has built an empire in Kentucky with her well known southern inspired cuisine and restaurants. Her latest venture, a cookbook “Just a Few Miles South – Timeless Recipes From Our Favorite Places” has many very excited. The book plays a huge part to her very well rounded culinary career and is now available for pre-sale.

Importantly, the cookbook will feature 150 recipes of her popular menu items from restaurants including Holly Hill Inn, Honeywood, Windy Corner Market, Wallace Station, Midway Bakery, and Zim’s.

The book will allow Ouita’s fans to get their favorite recipes into their very own kitchens. Importantly, she shares her inspiration, personal stories, and the history behind her restaurant ventures. Everyone can learn how to make the infamous homemade bread.

Undoubtedly, Chef Ouita encompasses the true culture of the Bluegrass through her talent and passion for the art of cooking. The book is available for pre-order for Spring 2021. Books will begin shipping in late April .
