It’s official, the Kentucky State Police Car is “America’s Best Looking Cruiser”
The Kentucky State Police car has won an award for the Best Looking Cruiser in the nation. The American Association of State Trooper’s hosted their annual calendar competition, the Best Looking Cruiser Contest.
The Kentucky State Police Cruiser won away with the title, amassing more than 71,359 votes. Ohio finished in second with 65,529 votes, and Georgia placed third with 19,030 votes.
America’s Best Looking Police Cruiser features a stealthy 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. The KSP police car is equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 pumping out 426 horsepower, mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. Its photo was captured at sunrise on a local horse farm in Woodford County, KY.

This photo will cover the AAST 2022 Calendar and also be featured in the month of January. The KSP police car isn’t a stranger to the contest however, as it placed second in last year’s contest. The Kentucky State Police car also won the title in 2018.
“This year’s photo submission represents the bluegrass with imagery of what we are best known for – horse country,” states KSP Spokesman Sgt. Billy Gregory. “We selected a photo that not only represents Kentucky State Police but also the citizens we serve on a daily basis.”
