Joey Gatewood happens to be a name that doesn’t appear on the chart and it has yet to be determined when the NCAA will clear his status. The most noteworthy on the list is Beau Allen, freshman as backup quarterback behind Terry Wilson.

Allen, who has been getting a lot of positive attention at fall camps gets up over senior Sawyer Smith for the first week. AJ Rose appears as running back alongside Chris Rodriguez (Kavosiey Smoke as backup.)

Chart puts sophomore Kenneth Horsey over freshman Eli Cox.

Importantly, the starting wide receivers are Josh Ali (senior), Allen Dailey (junior), Bryce Oliver (sophomore), and Clevan Thomas (junior.) Both Ali and Thomas were full time starters during the 2019 season.

Brandin Echols at cornerback as a senior. LSU transfer Kevin Joseph appears at the starting boundary cornerbacks after having to sit out last season due to NCAA transfer rules. Davonte Robinson will start nickelback.

Just Rigg gets the nod over sophomore Keaton Upshaw .

Tyrell Ajian wins the battle for safety over Quandre Mosley even though both players started games during the 2019 season.

Additionally, in preparation of the return of the Kentucky Football season, UK Atheltics has reduced capacity guidelines for the season, alongside social distanced seating plans at Kroger Field. Undoubtedly, it focuses on CDC recommended health and saftey guidelines to ensure protection for all fans, students, staff, and players.

The attendance has been lowered by twenty percent of normal capacity and matters are subject to change due. This season, Kentucky will host Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina. See Full Calendar Here.
