Andy Beshear for President – Kentucky Governor Enters 2020 Presidential Race
For the first time in history, the democratic party allows a late election entry! This last month of March Sadness as we like to call it, has been nothing short of confusing, chaotic, yet also inspiring and patriotic. Among the chaos, the best news has come about – Andy Beshear is running for President. You heard it folks, Beshear has entered his name into the 2020 electoral race.
Governor Andy Beshear has become the most favorited Governor in his state of Kentucky. Kentuckians look forward to his daily 5PM conferences as it’s the highlight of their day. Memes upon memes are flooding the internet daily, and hey, there’s even an ice cream named after Andy Beshear. If Andy Beshear were to win the 2020 election, not only would Kentucky be ecstatic , but the entire nation would have something to look forward to at 5PM daily.
With the current election being the hottest topic among the COVID-19 virus, President Donald Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden seem to be getting all the attention, both good and bad and everything in between. Due to the forging media, political drama, and our nations uncertainty, the Democratic party has allowed Andy Beshear and running mate Kenneth a late entry, the first time this has ever been done in American history.
Andy Beshear running for President will certainly switch things up. As Kentuckians, we truly believe in Andy and all that he is doing to protect our Commonwealth. Beshear has been extremely strict on Kentuckians, urging them to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, Beshear has urged Kentuckians to not cross into the Tennessee border (WE CAN’T BE DOING THAT!) The hashtag #TEAMKENTUCKY has been a trending topic, and a movement that has led Kentucky to come together during the most difficult of times.
Governor Andy Beshear running for president means several things. Beshear has several plans to help our nation which includes a list of not so typical measures:
- Passing the “Moonshine Bill,” allowing Americans to produce their backwoods spirits in the hills and hollers across Appalachia and beyond.
- Passing “The Bourbon for Medicinal Use Act”, allowing doctors to prescribe bourbon for medicinal use due to abundant resources.
- Declaring Cornhole as “The Official Sport of Kentucky.”
- Promises to make Coach Calipari and Coach Stoops as official cabinet members.
- The “Free Pony Ride Initiative” urging all prestigious bluegrass thoroughbred farms to allow free pony rides to all for the rest of 2020
- Declaring “Kentucky Fried Chicken Day” as an official holiday highlighting the newest recipe of the “Baked Beshear Bites.”
- Inducting the Kentucky Wildcat into the “Exotic Hall of Fame.”

Being that his entry has just went public, not all campaign details are in place yet. However, what we can tell you, is that we anticipate a lot of 5PM state wide happy hours, pimento cheese endorsements, and Tyler Childers serenades.
Lastly, Governor Andy Beshear’s successful and calming approach to governing will bring our nation to a place where the grass is greener (so green that it’s almost blue.)
Governor Andy Beshear invites all Kentuckians to make a tax deductible donation to the Team Kentucky Fund. This fund provides assistance to Kentuckians who have been severely financially impacted by the COVID-19 emergency.
