Tyler Childers Brings Marty Stuart on Stage At the Ryman to Sing Willie Nelson’s First #1 Hit
Although this is not the first time Tyler Childers and Marty Stuart have performed together, but definitely a memorable moment. Tyler Childers’ kicked off his ‘Country Squire Residency’ at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville February 6th, with a secondary show February 7th selling out both shows.
Two additional shows to follow this week – February 15th (sold out), and February 16th (nearly sold out.)
Tyler Childers brought out Marty Stuart to sing Willie Nelson’s “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain.” Both the Ryman and the song have a deep history with country music, The song was recorded by Willie Nelson in 1975 on his Red Headed Stranger album. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” number 302 on a list of 500 greatest songs of all time. It was the song that jump started his career.
Tyler Childers will continue to wow crowds across the nation starting this month with artist Sturgill Simpson.
