This “Day in the Life” series from SLAM showcases some of the former Wildcat’s draft prep and follows him behind the scenes around Havre de Grace, Maryland. The video features interviews with his family, and reminisces on an 8th grader who met Coach Calipari for the first time. Although the video doesn’t dive into NBA mock drafts, projections, nor suggest where players may land. For those loyal Wildcat fans who never miss a game from season to season, you know the leap in improvement Quickley made from his freshman to sophomore season. The unknown part is the SEC Player of the Year perhaps never even got to ascend to his fullest potential due to a truncated season. Unfortunately, the players on last year’s team never got to complete their season due to COVID-19, Nonetheless, Immanuel Quickley still had a stellar season, leading the Kentucky Wildcats in scoring.
