Terrence Clarke: The University of Kentucky Highest Ranked Player of the 2020 Class

Back in September, Terrence Clarke was only a junior in high school when he committed to the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Originally being the top 5 prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, however, shortly after reclassifying to the 2020 class.

Since then, Clarke pumped up his rankings for his new class, working his way up to number 4, making him the top recruit for the 2020 Kentucky Basketball season. Additionally, Clarke received an offer to play for the G-League, but decided to stick with the Wildcats.

Importantly, he is Coach John Calipari’s top 5 recruit since 2015 when prospecting Skal Labissiere. Clarke is said to have the potential to be the 2021 number 1 NBA Draft pick due to his athletic ability to play multiple positions on the court. Most players in his height range of 6’7 aren’t quick to dribble. Clarke’s ability to couple his size and speed certainly gives him an advantage.
