Maker’s Mark is a Kentucky Bourbon whiskey produced in Loretto, Kentucky. Importantly, it is one of the world’s top distilleries owned by Beam Suntory. It is here that you will find a deep history of the Samuels family recipe. Not only is the distillery located in the Bourbon Capital of the world, but it is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail!

Why is Maker’s Mark So Good?

The particular mash bill makes this spirit extremely smooth and easy to drink. Although may bourbons have somewhat of a “bite”, this one airs on the sweet side. Importantly,  each 90 proof bottle is hand-dipped in the infamous red wax.

The Bourbon

The brand is most known for their legendary original square, paper label, red wax sealed bottle. However, within the last few years, the family decided to slightly reinvent the wheel. By adding Maker’s 46, Cask Strength, and the Private Label selections, it allowed for a great mix of product extensions and variety.

How to Drink Maker’s Mark

It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in specialty cocktails!  A Brand Ambassador program is available for the truest of enthusiasts.

The Distillery

Maker’s Mark offers various distillery tours,  a farm to table dining experience at Star Hill Provisions, on-site gift shop, and so much more. It is here, that we honor Bill Samuels Sr. and the special taste of this one-of-a-kind flavored bourbon. The distillery showcases the traditional values and what make’s the spirit different from any other in the market. Additionally, true enthusiasts can become part of the distillery brand ambassador program. Maker’s is one of the first distilleries to allow the purchase of barrels. The campus is tucked away in a beautiful setting in between backroads and country fields.
