The Southern Lights Festival at the Kentucky Horse Park is back this season from November 22 through December 31st. It’s finally that time of year where we can get excited about all things plaid, cozy, and twinkly! Speaking of twinkly, this light festival sure has a ton of twinkle and glam. Drive through this beautiful and captivating light show from the comfort of your own car every night of the week between 5:30PM-10:00PM.

Not only is this a family friendly activity, but it’s affordable and safe! Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. The Kentucky Horse Park is celebrating its 27th year of the magical holiday tradition. The festival is presented by friends of coal, and had over 100,000 individuals pass through in 2019.

The Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm, international equestrian competition venue, and an educational theme park. It has been opened since 1978 in the city of Lexington, Kentucky. Importantly, it is famous for The Kentucky Three-Day Event (currently sponsored by Land Rover) is known to equine enthusiasts across the globe by a myriad of names, but few know the story of the small non-profit organization who makes it happen.
