Watch the Seton Hall vs Louisville basketball highlights to see what happened in closing minutes.
Curious how the Seton Hall vs Louisville basketball highlights shaped up? This game actually became a much different game as the clock starting winding down. The Louisville Cardinals basketball team squeezed out a second straight win in an early-season barnburner pulling off a 71-70 victory.
The Cards had an 11 point lead with about 8 minutes left in the game when Seton Hall came storming back. Sandro Mamukelashvili pulled the Pirates back into the game with his 22 points and 10 rebounds performance.
Freshman JJ Traynor made a couple of big plays late in the game which gave Louisville the edge to hold off the Pirates. Traynor had a putback with 5 seconds to go, then a huge defensive rebound to stop the final attempt from Seton Hall. The redshirt freshman Jae’Lyn Withers added a huge shot of his own when it mattered most. Carlik Jones also had a productive night for Louisville, finishing with a team high 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.
To cap off the thriller, UofL’s Quinn Slazinski fouled Seton Hall’s Takal Molson during a 3-pointer with less than a second left. Louisville fans would say the call was questionable, but we’re guessing Chris Mack wasn’t making any excuses regardless. Seton Hall made the first two free throws, and missed the last attempt, allowing Louisville to pull off the one point win.
