Nate’s Coffee Stout Release

Nates Coffee Stout

Nate’s Coffee Stout is back!

It’s always a good day when there is a Nate’s Coffee Stout Release. Country Boy Brewing works with Nate’s Coffee to brew the perfect fall stout. Both businesses are local to Lexington.

About Country Boy Brewing

It should be noted that Country Boy Brewingwas founded in 2012 by three native Kentuckians. Above all, they had a passion for craft beer. Country Boy prides itself on making minimally processed beers with high quality ingredients.

About Nate’s Coffee

Nate’s Coffeewas founded by Nathan Polly, a born and bred Lexingtonian who has always had a passion for coffee.

About the Beer:

This is a stout brewed with organic Guatemalan coffee beans. The roast is a sweet yet smooth medium roast. There are hints of milk chocolate and caramel. It’s a Fair Trade coffee, shade-grown in the Atitlan region of Guatemala, at the Finca Ceylan coffee estate. Unlike other regions, this estate stretches over 700 acres of land. Although the land is a nature preserve, it is additionally a 230 acre farm.

The beer itself is malty and not on the heavier stout side. The smell is very coffee forward. Vanilla and light caramel tones hit the palette.

Untapped Rating: 3.98

“Coffee is there, just not overbearingly so. Hops clear off the sweetness at the end. Smooth transitions, very drinkable.”
