Louisville is Now Home to a Chick-fil-A Food Truck, Traveling to Communities Without a Restaurant
Louisville is officially one of only eight Chick-fil-A food trucks in the country. Being that Louisville is a strong market for Chick-fil-A, it is an awesome way to serve clients outside of the traditional brick and mortar restaurant according to Nate Smith, Food Truck Director.
The truck will not only travel within Louisville, but also to surrounding locations that do not have a physical restaurant. The truck will serve a limited version of the classic menu offering the Original and Spicy Chick-fil-A Sandwich, Nuggets, Grilled Cool Wraps, Market Salads, Waffle Fries, Waffle Chips Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemonade, Sweet Tea and soft drinks.
Stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Louisville area include: Stonybrook, Bardstown Road, Glenmary, Middletown Commons, Jefferson Commons, Dixie Highway, New Albany, Veteran’s Parkway, Jeffersonville, St. Mathews, Springhurst, The Mall St. Mathews Mall, Jefferson Mall, and LaGrange Road (a delivery-focused location.)
Currently, the food truck doesn’t offer reservations for private parties, but has plans to serve at larger scale events such as Riverfront concerts, Thunder Over Louisville, and the Kentucky Derby.
