Burger Week Louisville KY Returns for 2021
Summertime in the Bluegrass means another edition of Louisville Burger Week! For the 2021 Burger Week Louisville, 50 restaurants located around the Louisville, KY area will be featured. This marks the 5th annual event, which includes about double the participating eateries as last year’s event.
Contrary to last year’s event, many of the participating restaurants will offer dine-in service for 2021. However, some of the restaurants will still feature a takeout option. Check before you go because each restaurant has their own policy on this.
As Burger Week swings back into a truer form of itself after an unprecedented year, roughly 50 unique burgers will be featured. These are typically not on the menu hamburgers, which are one-of-a-kind.
“Burger Week is a great opportunity for customers to enjoy the food and culture of the city, all while supporting local restaurants and trying new places,” states Louisville Burger Week organizer Tony Frank.

What is Louisville Burger Week?
Burger Week Louisville is one week a year of burger madness in Louisville, Kentucky. These burgers have a set price each year, which is currently set at $6. These off-menu special burgers are one-of-a-kind creation by Louisville area chefs who are attempting to create the most unique burgers in town. Burger fans in the 502 area code might tout this as the best week of the year!
To add a little fun to the ultimate burger week, there’s a digital passport where you can collect stamps at each location. You can keep track of all of the participating restaurants that way. Folks who collect 5 or more stamps have a shot at $250 gift cards. Even more interesting, you have a chance to win the Ultimate Grill Out from the Kentucky Beef Council. That means Free Burgers for a Year!
To outline the scale of burger weeks across Kentucky, the Lexington event in 2020 served 100,000+ hamburgers across participating restaurants in the Lexington region. That’s a whole lot of Kentucky beef. That’s why the Kentucky Beef Council supports the event in Louisville, as well as the recent event in Lexington.

In order to qualify for a chance to win free hamburgers for a year, you’ll need to collect stamps at participating restaurants. Essentially, you can print out a form or download the digital app.
For those participants who collect three or more stamps, you are qualified to win some level of prices. To qualify for free burgers for a year, you’ll need to show your dedication to the sport and collect ten or more. We’ve provided all of those passports below.
If you use the app, you’ll find various information including locations, descriptions, and a burger map. For those of you using the basic PDF form that can be printed out, you’ll still need to submit that manually. You can submit those completed passports here.

Lastly, we want to hear who has the best burger in town. Some folks say the Game Restaurant in Irish Hill. Others may suggest it’s totally Burger Boy Diner, or Bambi Bar. Burger Week or not, who’s your go-to for the best burger in Louisville?
