Louisville Basketball Schedule 2021-2022 Season Ushers Back College Basketball
Stay updated on the Louisville Basketball schedule for 2021-2022 season in college basketball.
The Cardinals kick off this basketball season participating in a couple of exhibitions games at the KFC Yum center in Louisville Kentucky. After those tune-up games against Kentucky State and West Georgia, UofL will officially open up against Southern, and then face-off against Furman, Navy, and Detroit Mercy at home before hitting the road.
The Louisville Cardinals will then travel toNassau, Bahamas to compete in the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship. Here they will face-off againstMississippi State for a round of “bully ball,” before going against Maryland.

An early date to mark for the Cardinals will also come in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge as they lace up against the legend Tom Izzo an Michigan State on December 1st. From there Cardinal fans will probably be looking forward to a December 22 matchup against in-state rivals highly ranked Kentucky. They will also travel to the nearby Western Kentucky Hilltoppers during that run, just 4 days prior.
As the Cardinals move deeper into ACC Conference play on December 29th and January 1st, UofL will face some of the leading teams in the division with Wake Forest and Georgia Tech within a span of a few days days. Essentially one month later will bring a matchup against Virginia, then blue bloods North Carolina, as well as another against Duke. This run of games will be at home this year in Louisville, Kentucky alternating to the KFC Yum! Center.

March will continue to be the usual run of ACC opponents for the University of Louisville as they travel to North Carolina for the second match against UNC and Wake Forest. The Cards finish the ACC Conference schedule with a handful of road games before traveling to Brooklyn, New York to kickoff the ACC Tournament on Tuesday, March 9, 2022.
Over the past 13 years, Louisville‘s strength of schedule has been one of the toughest 20 in the nation, so we’re betting this year’s rating will not be much different when the dust settles.
