Western KY Red Cross Disaster Relief Fundraiser

If you would like to donate directly here, you can make a quick donation immediately to the Western KY Red Cross Disaster Relief Fundraiser right on Facebook. Also, FB will pay for 100% of the processing fees so more of that money actually gets to the victims of this tornado that struck hardest in the Western Kentucky region.

Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund

Governor Andy Beshear has set up the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to help those impacted by the severe weather.

All donations to the fund are tax-deductible and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after donating.

United Way Of Kentucky

United Way of Kentucky has set up a Disaster Recovery Fund to support Kentuckians effected by the natural disaster.

Lee Initiative

The LEE Initiative out of Louisville, KY who helps out with local causes has setup a Western KY Relief Drive.

Donate clothes, sleeping bags/blankets, food, water and other non-perishables 

*Suggested donations include gas for bottled water, gatorade, non-perishable food, gift cards to local restaurants, baby formula, generators, batteries, flash lights, head lamps, utility gloves, phone chargers, gas cans, socks, undergarments, blankets, sleeping bags, coats, warm clothes, shoes, toiletries, paper towels, plastic utensils, paper plates, feminine hygiene products, diapers, wipes, large trash bags, cleaning supplies, first aid supplies.

Local medical centers are in need of blood supplies due to the medical emergencies, therefore you can locate opportunities to donate blood below.

Kentucky United Tornado Disaster Relief Telethon

UK Athletics, WLEX-TV to Host Telethon on Tuesday for Tornado Relief

This telethon will happen on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m., with proceeds going to the American Red Cross to benefit victims of the tornadoes that hit Western Kentucky. 

Viewers may donate to “Kentucky United for Tornado Relief” in these ways:

Western Kentucky Toy Drive

The First Lady of Kentucky has launched a Toy Drive for the displaced kids to have a somewhat normal Holiday Season, if that’s even possible with their home now missing in some instances. “With your help, we can make this season a little easier for those who are hurting by donating a toy, book or gift card to bring them some hope and joy during the holidays.”
