Northern Kentucky Memorial Day Events
The Northern Kentucky area is home to several meaningful memorial day activities. The Cincinnati VA Medical Center in Fort Thomas hosts an annual Memorial Day celebration complete with a parade, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of fallen service members. In addition, there are other places in the area that hold various memorial day events, such as the Kentucky Veterans Monument Commission in Crestview Hills, which hosts a ceremony every year.

Lexington Memorial Day Events
In Central Kentucky, Lexington hosts some of the most popular Memorial Day events. The Veterans Memorial Park is a great place for people to go to remember those who have served our country, and every year they host a ceremony with guest speakers, military members, performers and more. In addition to this, there are also several other memorial day activities throughout Lexington such as picnics at Jacobson Park and a Veterans’ Day Ceremony at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Bowling Green Memorial Day Events
Bowling Green also offers plenty of ways to commemorate Memorial Day. The National Corvette Museum hosts a car show where the proceeds benefit veterans’ charities and the Military Veterans Resource Center. They also provide tours of the museum grounds, which feature an outdoor memorial garden and other monuments honoring fallen service members. In addition to this, there are several other events taking place throughout the city, such as a motorcycle ride and a family picnic.
