Young’s bighead carp is said to be the largest in state history according to Fishing Kentucky Lakes, Rivers, and Creeks. He compares his fishing victory to “winning a state football championship, but a little better.” Additionally, he told Kentucky Outdoors “I am truly blessed, but now it’s time to take a break again.” The carp was caught last Friday evening out of the Kentucky River.
