That’s a broad range of course, but every year is slightly different and it also depends on the specific area within Kentucky. Typically, higher elevations and more northern locations will produce an earlier change in leaf colors.

Peak fall colors in the majority of Kentucky will happen between October 30th through November 5th. That includes 75% of all of the northern regions of the state. If you live along the Tennessee border, peak leaf foliage in KY will occur around November 6th. That includes 25% of of the southern regions of the state from Harlan County to Fulton County, KY.
