The Kentucky Derby Poster 2022 edition has been unveiled, featuring local Louisville artist Kacy Jackson. This has became an annual pre-spring tradition showcasing local talent.
The official Kentucky Derby Festival 2022 poster unveiling marks the buildup to the Kentucky Derby Festival, which is essentially a month-long celebration around Louisville, KY. The 2022 poster theme is titled“Together,” which is the 42nd edition in the iconic series that was launched in 1981.
“I wanted this year’s poster design to represent the unity that stems from Derby Festival events,” said artist Kacy Jackson. “The geometrical shapes and multicolored scheme overlaying the city of Louisville represent the diversity of people brought together by the Festival and the harmony it creates in our community.”

The official poster and the 2022 Limited Edition are both available for order via kdf.org. The Limited Edition version is a a run of 500 posters, signed and numbered which retails for $50. The Official KDF Poster is $30, however you can get your copy signed by Kacy as well for an additional $10. A post card is also available for $5.
