Kentucky Football is now ranked #9 in AP Top 25 poll.
Following a big win over Florida, 26-16, University of Kentucky football now moves into the Top 10 in college football rankings. Knocking off one of the hottest teams in college football, UK football moves up eleven spots to crack the Top 10. The Wildcats are now one of four teams from the SEC that rank in the top 10 of the AP poll after week two of play.

Georgia also jumps Alabama for the No. 1 spot, as Kentucky soars to No. 9 in college football rankings, followed by Arkansas at No. 10. The South Eastern Conference occupies more spots down at No. 15 Tennessee, No. 18 Florida, No. 20 Ole Miss, and No. 24 Texas A&M. That makes 8 of the Top 25 teams all in one conference.
This sets up a couple of interesting showdowns on down the road for Tennessee vs Florida, and Ole Miss vs Kentucky. Each of those games will be significant in shaping the remainder of the season in the final SEC standings, and ultimately college football.

The Kentucky Wildcats used a strong effort in the second-half to pull away from the Florida Gators in The Swamp. The Tennessee Volunteers also jumped nine spots to No. 15 after a strong win at Pittsburgh. Nonetheless, ifi this game of Kentucky vs Florida taught us one thing, it’s that We Run The Swamp!
