Buffalo Trace OFC 1995 Vintage Bourbon Release Set For December 2020
The Buffalo Trace OFC 1995 Vintage Bourbon release will happen this year in the month of December. This marks the 5th edition of this very limited vintage series, however the O.F.C. history runs much deeper!
Bourbon legend, Colonel E.H Taylor, opened the O.F.C. Distillery way back in the year of 1870. During this timeframe, this was one of the most state-of-the-art distilleries of its era. It featured innovating technology such a copper fermentation vats, column stills, and a steam heating system that was ground breaking for its time. Some of these innovations are still in use at their aging warehouses today, however it now goes by another name, Buffalo Trace Distillery. Some of you all have probably visited this distillery for a tour, and if not you should put this National Historic Landmark on your bucket list!
The vintage bourbon is vesseled inside a fine hand-cut crystal bottle, marked with the date which it was distilled — 1995. Positioned as a limited release, bourbon hunters may have to keep a close eye out to locate 1 of the 1,500 available bottles being released. If you are lucky enough to spot this rare bottle in the wild beginning in December 2020, expect a price tag of at least $2,500 for a 750ml bottle. Rumor has it that this fine vintage bourbon pairs well with our bourbon t-shirts. 😉
