Final Auburn vs Kentucky Basketball Score, 80-82

The Wildcats manage to hold off a late rally from the Tigers, closing out the Auburn vs Kentucky basketball score at 80-82.

UK started slow but got the office going in the second half. Davion Mintz hit a three pointer with only 30 seconds remaining to edge out the victory. 

BJ Boston came into the game with a much more aggressive defense than he’s previously shown. That tenacity lead to three early steals, but it also got him into foul trouble. After losing his starting position for a game, he seems to be steadily improving game by game. Boston close the second half scoring double digits on the offenses end. He finished the game with 17 points.

Isaiah Jackson put up a double-double performance for the Wildcats in the game. Once again, he came up with a big block late in the game shutting down an Auburn comeback. Jackson shined on the offensive end today however. He led all Wildcats with 18 points for the game. 

For their next game, Kentucky will travel to Nashville to compete against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Anytime UK plays in Nashville, it basically turns blue. Therefore, we’ll refer to it as Catsville, TN from now on.
