With that being said, the Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute is still being explored. Officials suggest that while it is not yet official, there could still be competition at the Kentucky Horse Park. In addition to the Three Star Event, other events could still be held during this weekend in Lexington, KY, without spectators however.

“We have been working with US Equestrian, the Kentucky Horse Park, and state and local government on several different scenarios for April,” says the President of Equestrian Events, Mike Cooper. “With so many uncertainties still remaining regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, it is premature for US Equestrian to remove its restrictions on spectators. Given the importance of the health and well-being of our spectators and competitors, we feel the only option at this time is to cancel the Five Star Event and hopefully proceed with other events that our fans can enjoy via livestream and other outlets.”

Tickets

If you purchased tickets for the 2021 Kentucky Three Day Event, you can either roll them over for the next year or get a refund.

This includes spectators, patrons, vendors as well as sponsors. Some of those individuals could have rolled their interests over from last year, so they will be given this option once again. Nonetheless, they will receive an email regarding further details. If you’re a sponsor however, you could have the option to participate at any events potentially being held this year.
